Visit the supporters of Rockford Reefers
The March meeting was held on the 17th at Rod's Reef in Dekalb, IL.   Rod showed the Rockford Reef Club how to build surge tanks, waste collectors, carbon filters, and brine shrimp hatcheries, and then let the club have a free raffle for the items.   Rod sent everyone home with some Rod's Food and DT's phytoplankton.  A huge thanks to Rod for hosting a fantastic meeting and sharing his useful DIY projects with everyone.    Prior to the main event at Rod's, members gathered at the home of Tom Kucala to take care of some club business, and checked out his impressive collection of aquariums that included freshwater Cichlid systems, a 125 gallon fish only, and 75 gallon reef tank.   Thanks to Tom for having the club over and for showing your tanks.
