Visit the supporters of Rockford Reefers
The December Rockford Reefers meeting was held on Sunday,  December 10, 2006 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at Sea Schor located at 229 W. Dundee Road,  Buffalo Grove, IL.  Steve discussed reef environments being recreated in our homes sharing his knowledge and experience about how to maintain a healthy reef tank. He spoke in detail about some of the key characteristics of a keeping a healthy reef aquarium including sand bed maintenance, water movement and flow, lighting, and water parameter stability.  Club members were given the opportunity to ask specific questions about their reef tanks.  A behind the scenes tour of the store system and fish quarantine area was also provided.  Steve sent clean up crews home with everyone.  A big thanks to Steve at Sea Schor for hosting a very informative meeting.
